The traditional Sporttia parhaalla paikalla event opened the post-summer event season for Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt. Pre-match events have been organized for ten years in collaboration with local sports clubs, and they still draw a full audience, as this time there were over 120 participants present at Joki Visitor Centre.
The evening's match was the Ykkönen football match TPS vs. JJK (Jyväskylä). First, we heard the thoughts of TPS football CEO Janne Kytölä and coach Jesse Saarinen regarding the evening's match and the team's current affairs. In addition to Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's Community Manager Carita Varjonen, the audience also had the opportunity to ask questions about topics such as the team's training, recovery, and load monitoring.
Once Kytölä and Saarinen headed to Veritas Stadion to prepare for the game, we welcomed player Selja Leiwo from the TPS women's representative team to the stage to share news from the women's team. After Leiwo, Executive Director Kim Ekroos came to share the latest news and future goals for TPS junior football.
After the presentations, we enjoyed delicious burgers from Ravintola Mauno, and after the treat, we headed to the stadium for the evening's match.
In the rainy evening at Veritas Stadion, we saw a match dominated by TPS. JJK could not get their offense working, and the match ended in a 2–0 victory for the home team. The goalscorers were team veterans Kasperi Hämäläinen and Riku Riski.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the event! You can view more photos on the Teknologiakiinteistöt Facebook page.
