ParkCity, a ten-storey parking facility built by Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt, was completed in the Turku Science Park at the end of 2022.
The construction of the 1,000-space ParkCity began in the summer of 2021. The construction site was filmed throughout the process, and a timelapse video has now been created from the footage, showing the building being completed in just over a minute.
ParkCity is the largest parking facility in Southwest Finland. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Kupittaa railway station and serves as a park-and-ride facility, as there is a direct covered connection from the building to the platform area of the Kupittaa station.
The construction of ParkCity was carried out by YIT and designed by Schauman Arkkitehdit.
