The year 2023 at Teknologiakiinteistöt was like a party held in a parking garage – a blend of contrasts, a unique environment, and glitter. The year was colored, both for us and across Europe, by challenges created by rising costs, but amidst it all, the development of Turun Tiedepuisto took leaps forward.
The past year will be remembered at Teknologiakiinteistöt at least for the fact that Turku's largest parking facility was completed in the science park, we purchased a pharmaceutical factory building we named VitaCity, and we became the majority owner of SHIFT Business Festival. During the year, we started building a pharmaceutical factory for Biovian, signed a 25-year lease agreement with Turun Vesihuolto, and the B-part of the office building InfraCity was completed. We also organized the best parties in the science park as well as numerous other events, made a documentary video about the birth of Turun Tiedepuisto, and the first pizza vending machine in the science park even arrived next to BioCity.
Thank you for letting us spend another year with you. This year, we are donating the funds reserved for Christmas greetings to the Pelastakaa Lapset ry (Save the Children Finland) Christmas fundraiser, which provides food aid, hobby support, and learning material support to low-income families with children.
